What kinds of pain does the Pain Centre treat?

Pain that has lasted longer than three months, or keeps coming back.

Tap where it hurts and the card beside it shows how we assess that area, which procedures may be used and what OHIP covers. If your pain is new, sudden or severe, see your family physician or go to an emergency department first.

For OHIP-covered care, yes. Any Ontario physician can refer you. If you do not have one, book a family medicine assessment here and our physician can refer you internally.

Start with a referral or an assessment.

Have a family doctor? Ask them to fax a referral to 905-761-7306 or send it by Ocean eReferral. No family doctor? Book a family medicine assessment and we handle the referral inside the clinic. This page is general information, not medical advice. Results vary from person to person.
